I need to set up a website but i am not sure of the whole web hosting thing ? Which one would be best ?

I think the most basic hosting option is like four dollars a month and you can host your own message board, blog, or even your own wiki there. They give you like 5 gigs of space for their cheapest plan too, which is more than almost anyone could ever need I think.

Disk space refer to the hard disk space to store your pages

Bandwidth refer to the traffic you used. Typically if you do not host a lot of video, this should not be an issue

Host multiple domains mean that you can use the same hosting plan for many domain.

Domain refer to your web address. eg Google.com , Yahoo.com

You need to register a domain. It is less than $10 per year.

Try not to use the same provider for both your domain and hosting.
