Web Hosting?
put your files in the public_html, that%26#039;s your root from your domain -- I.E. http://mywebsite.org/
The www is most likely a redirection for the common subdomain %26quot;www%26quot;, such as yahoo.com works, as does www.yahoo.com

The public_html folder is your real web folder. Any documents you would like seen by web-users go there. However, www is an alias to that, so in reality they are one and the same. When you access the www folder it really takes you to the public_html folder.
Other Replys:Don%26#039;t worry they are the same folder and take you to the same place, www is just a link to public_html. Cpanel does that to help people although most find it confusing :)
Other Replys:%26quot;www%26quot; is the mirror of %26quot;public_html%26quot;, you should put all your files at %26quot;public_html%26quot;.
