Web hosting.?

I am looking for a perfect web host. I do not have time to review these. Does someone have a list of acceptable ones, that have good quality when it comes to up-time, mail, installing, you know stuff like that? It would be much appreciated if you could provide me with some information.

Web hosting.?

Hi,

When choosing a web host it%26#039;s of course important to consider the cost (some hosting can be very expensive) but here are some other important things you should take into consideration too:

Web Hosting Space: Some web hosts will only give you 500MB or so of space. This could be a concern if you are looking at creating large websites.

Bandwidth: Some web hosts will severely limit the bandwidth you can use before you incur extra charges.

Uptime: There%26#039;s no point in having a website if people can%26#039;t see it. Does your web host offer at least a 99% uptime guarantee?

Number of websites allowed: If you%26#039;re looking to host more than one website on your account, will your web host charge you more to do this?

Support: If you have any problems you need to be able to contact your web host quickly and easily to get the problem sorted.

I have used Hostgator as my web host for over two years now and have been very very impressed with them. Firstly they%26#039;re very cheap but still give me more web hosting space and bandwidth than I%26#039;ll ever need, the ability to host unlimited websites, a 99.9% uptime guarantee and great customer support. You can find them at http://www.webhostgator.info

Web hosting.?

Madalines17,

Here is a perfect solution to your question. http://www.webhost.intwebserver.net This is a website that I send a lot of people to who are in need of a web hosting program. These listed here are excellent-grade-A web hosts that I have used and still currently do. Have a look, I compiled them all together and I even categorized them so that if you are looking for a Virtual-Private-server, there are choices of the best there that you can choose from.

Other Replys:the most reliable i seen is www.siteground.com/

but yo cant host copyrighted material (mp3s, movies) which is the only downer i know of. but hey almost all other hosting services also dont allow copyrighted material.

the best free host is x10hosting.com

Other Replys:I can recommend http://www.startlogic.ca I%26#039;ve used them for nearly 3 years and hosted about 20 websites with them. Price is $5.95/ month and they offer toll free support (1-800) which is a must, and a 30 day moneyback guarantee. You can also have up to 50 separate websites per account.

You can also try http://www.easier-hosting.com they offer some good hosting reviews.

Other Replys:I like HostGator... I%26#039;ve used them for several of my own sites as well as recommended them to clients. I would avoid GoDaddy (for hosting, they%26#039;re okay for domain name registration)... especially if you%26#039;re going to have any kind of dynamic site that will require database connections when people are viewing the pages. Pick a host that isn%26#039;t optimized for this and your site will get S.L.O.W. when you have any amount of decent traffic...

Stuff to look for:

1) A host that has the database server on the same physical machine as the web server.

2) A host that has CRON (task scheduling).

There are quite a few other things to consider but those two are key. I%26#039;ve written a few pages on the topic, here...
