If you are serious about websites either for personal or your business, don%26#039;t go to free web hosting as they are usually not reliable and you may end up losing all your hard work. Free web hosts usually put advertisements on your websites and it could be annoying.

If you like to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website, I got more than 100 websites in about 6 months%26#039; time), go for multiple web hosting services where you could host all your websites in one account.

The Yahoo/Geocities free offer is quite nice to begin with.

Other Replys:More than likely the personal webspace your ISP provides for you with your internet subscription.

I am mot being flip, but many do not realize the resource they are paying for and never use.

I use my web space to post pictures instead of %26quot;imageshack.com%26quot; or one of the other ad based services.

However, it%26#039;s a post-to-host type of free host but in my opinion, it is worth it.

Not only is the post requirement very low, the packages are so much better even compared to paid hosting services.
